I purchased this phone holder based on it's description and as advertised, however, after first time of using it I realized it would never work holding my iPhone 4. The spring operated grip is designed to hold anything else but iPhone 4 due to two reasons, first the spring is so hard to slide and reaches the maximum length just to the iPhone length and you barely able to get it fit.

And when you managed to get it fit in the grip, it will press the power button and cover the earphone jack. I've used iPhone 4 iCool Stand Holder with Chain-Star/White for one time only and now looking for something else.And yes, if you arrange the 4 clips exactly as shown in the picture of the product, it will press the power button and cover the earphone jack on the top.
